I agree trying to be something other than yourself is pointless even if the “you” is a mythical area in some far off city, but I think people will gravitate toward innovative companies creating innovative areas. It’s just not going to become a world of innovative dots that have no physical links, that is of course unless we devolve into a non-networking species…     Good post that’s worth a look.
